Foam Filling Your Tyres For Puncture Prevention
11/10/2017 - Big Tyres
Machines working in severe and hazardous conditions can suffer punctures on an almost daily basis. Foam filled tyres cannot be punctured, reducing costly downtime and the need to replace your tyres. This makes them ideal for construction sites, landfills, recycling facilities and areas of rough terrain.
Big Tyres offers a Tyre Foam Filling where tyres of virtually any size and use (tractor tyres, forklift tyres, etc.) can be filled with a compound that cures to give a solid rubber core. Tyre pressure checking becomes eliminated as the tyre is filled to the manufacturers recommended pressure and once the tyre has been filled, the tyre keeps the pressure for the rest of the tyres life! Punctures and downtime become eliminated resulting in more productivity and less cost!
Applications for foam-filled tyres include:
- Access platforms
- Construction vehicles
- Dumpers
- Horticultural vehicles
- Loaders
- Rough terrain forklifts
- Agricultural vehicles
- Skid steers
- Sweepers
- Tractors
- Telehandlers
- Excavators
