Damaged Goods
It is the customers responsibility to inspect goods upon delivery to ensure that all pieces are present and free from damage. Any damage should be reported immediately to the courier and to ourselves. Please read the below information then contact us If you have received damaged goods.
If damaged goods are received then you must advise the courier of the damage at the time of delivery and ensure that the courier records it on their delivery confirmation slip. This is especially important if the damage looks like it has been caused during transportation. Next you must also advise Big Tyres in writting immediately (within 2 working days at miminum) of the damaged items. Once reported we will investigate the claim and ensure the goods are collected and replacement items dispatched as appropriate. Please note that failure to record damage caused by couriers / transportation at the time of delivery could result in a claim for damages being rejected.
We would also request that you email pictures of the damage to our sales team after you have submitted the below contact form as this will aid our investigation and can demonstrate proof of damage to courier firms or tyre manufacturers. This can vastly increase our abilty to trouble shoot the problem and to provide a timely resolution. If the damage is not courier / transport related, and is more to do with a manufacturing defect, then we will liaise with the manufacturer to confirm the issue and provide a solution or replacement as appropriate. Please note that If the damage has appeared after use of the goods and you believe it to be a manufacturing defect then this would require you to start a warranty claim process instead.
