With deeper and higher density of lateral grooves and sipes for better grip over lifetime, the Continental HDW2 Scandinavia tyre is designed with an adjusted number and distribution of grip edges and open shoulders for good grip and high durability. The Continental HDW2 Scandinavia tyre adopts a steel cord chafer and air-keep inner liner for sustainable casing value and a triangular belt designed also for excellent traction in winter conditions. The increased tyre pattern rigidity means the Continental HDW2 Scandinavia tyre reduces deformations and thus lowering rolling resistance.
