The Hankook Smart City AU04+ tyre is an innovative urban bus tyre for high mileage in stop-and-go traffic. The 3-dimensional sipe delivers excellent mileage and traction performance with reduced irregular wear which enhances fuel efficiency. The Hankook Smart City AU04+ tyre feature amended zigzag grooves together with an optimal block arrangement providing an improved traction performance. With its innovative belt structure, the Hankook Smart City AU04+ tyre minimises the motion of the belt for low heat generation. This is coupled with an enhanced carcass structure to lessen tyre deformation and optimise the foot shape to demonstrate control on uneven surfaces. The new bead compound offers improved retreadability and greatly improves creep performance and heat aging resistance. A hole-type damage indicator found on the sidewall allow clear means to detect damage early and safely.
