Who Are Bridgestone?
Bridgestone, founded in 1931 in Japan, is now a household name when it comes to getting people from A to B. And rightly so. Excelling at production of passenger car, truck and bus and specialist tyre for Earthmover, Agricultural and motorcycle, the company makes tyres for nearly everything that moves on wheels and is recognised by motorists everywhere. The Bridgestone mission philosophy is 'Serving Society with Superior Quality', a mission that has continued since the brand was founded. Bridgestone's commitment to quality stems not from want of profit, but out of passion improving the safety and lives of people everywhere. Bridgestone bought American tyre producer Firestone Tyre & Rubber Company in 1988, making them one of the biggest tyre companies in the world.
