The main zig-zag groove provides excellent traction and water drainage under various road conditions also featuring an asymmetric groove to aid in stone ejection. The Hankook TH31 Smart Flex a special rubber compound to enhance durability in severe condition to resist cuts and chips. The slanted grooved design found in the tyre ribs helps prevent against tyre chunking.
